The Normal Initiative started from a climate of confusion surrounding a life full of conservative judgment and abusive employment norms in Cyprus. We wanted to create opportunities for people involved in creative spheres and marginalized communities to create something that works for us. We started to promote marginalized talent and healthy philanthropic actions around the island of Cyprus. Progressively, we started working with contributors from many countries and nationalities. Now, The Normal Events spread a spirit of joy, cultural richness and love of the community, in Cyprus and on European mainland. At the heart of our mission is the belief in a fairer world. A fairer world for LGBTQIA+ folks, A fairer world for marginalized people and communities. A fairer world for those who’s lives are torn by conflict and war, so that peace may be the future that prevails.  
We focus on ecofriendly, artistic, cruelty free and humanitarian activities that will bring positive festivities.
